First full day in Paris

This will be a short post as it's already 11:30, and wake up call will be pretty early.

Today, we went to Versailles and toured the chateau. Afterwards, we had a picnic on the grounds of the Versailles city hall. Then it was back to Paris and the top of the Montparnasse Tower, Paris' only skyscraper.

We divided into two groups to be able to get around better. Both went to the Luxembourg Gardens. Victoria's group took a side trip to visit her grandmother, who has an apartment just by the gardens. Having no relatives in Paris, my group visited the Notre Dame Cathedral.

Afterwards, both groups found quick dinners in the Latin Quarter. Then it was the sightseeing boat ride on the Seine River as the sun set. It was pretty incredible.

Below, find just a few pictures from today. (I'm sure I have left someone out. Apologies, there will be more tomorrow.)

Tomorrow's post will be the last from France. I usually do a final epilogue post with a ton of pictures within a week of return. So don't forget to look.
