Unfortunately, this will be a brief post. There’s been a lot that has happened since Saturday, and little time to report.

There was the reception at the City Hall where Ava and Gabrielle spoke on Monday. Then we had our first sports day on Tuesday. Today, we practiced singing the Marseillaise (France’s national anthem) as well as the Star Spangled Banner at American Memorial here in Brest. (We will be singing both at a ceremony there on July 4.)

There are photos of all of it. There just hasn’t been time to process or post them.

I did the first set of photographic portrait sessions, today with Ani, Grace, Michael and Luc.

And we leave tomorrow morning at 7:00 for Normandy. And there will be a city bike ride on Saturday morning.

So please be patient. There will be a huge blog post late Saturday or on Sunday.
